Approaching Ethical Dilemmas in the Family Business

Family businesses exhibit an ethical behavior distinct from that of other organizations, primarily rooted in the involvement of the controlling family, a focus on a diverse set of goals not only centered on profitability but also on socioemotional wealth, and unique social interactions (Vázquez, 2018).

Ethical Education for the New Generations in Family Businesses

The principles that define what is right and wrong are learned from an early age within the family, and the family business is a group where various ethical challenges introduced by the daily life of the family enterprise are often discussed (Vázquez, 2018).
